PREFORMER DANCER
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Jacqueline Pansy was born in 1953 to parents traveling with a small circus by the name, “Clyde Beatty Shows.” The movie “Ring of Fire” featured this circus. Jacqueline's dad incorporated her and her older sister into small parts of his act as they grew up. Jacqueline says, yes we got to ride the elephants too. Had a blast! When it was time to start school I didn’t want to go! I loved the circus but life changes and one must adapt.
She earned extra money starting at age seven, picking various vegetables and fruit in order to pay for the supplies she needed for her animal hospital for injured strays. Located in in the family garage. Jacqueline said she got pink eye at least once a year from that non-profit venture. Her parents finally put an end to the pink eye, no more treating strays. Deciding to branch out Jacqueline found a creative side to her around the age of eight at “Buckskin Joes,” a theme park located not far from Canon City, Colorado. During a staged street fight Jacqueline said she felt it needed something, so she just jumped in and improvised. Without being asked. Threw the actors off for a minute or two before the adult actors improvised to include her, the audience loved it. Afterwards Jacqueline was hired for the summer.
Jacqueline says, I finally made it through high school which was not easy due to a hearing disability and having dyslexia. I was not sure what I wanted to do with my life. I Decided to take dance, do a little community theater work, while waitressing at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor. Then out of the blue, I was offered the chance to do a USO tour for our troops. God Bless our Troops for keeping us safe. I ended up having a nine year career as a dancer/performer traveling all over the world. The last show I performed in was in Las Vegas Nevada at the Las Vegas Hilton's “Moulin Rouge.” I met my wonderful husband there.
Over the years after quitting the entertainment business I needed to find something for the creative side of my brain. I found writing and illustrating books to be very rewarding. Now a family member, who is very logical, pointed out to me that being an eccentric author, is great, but it doesn’t pay the bills! LOL! I did get a “normal” job, because I was ready to settle down. However, I did not give up my eccentric author illustrator job. To date I have published on Amazon.com under my pen name, Jacqueline Pansy (Pansy is my middle name), six books, more in the works and numerous ideas for future books.
Due to people always saying they would love a T-Shirt that quotes me or has my illustrations on them, I have now embraced designing for T-Shirts and other products which are available through Redbubble. I like to stay busy and exercise my brain!

Creating HEr STORIEs
As Jacqueline ponders what to write her fingers graze across the keyboard. An idea begins to form. Characters start popping into her mind so fast that her fingers go into warp drive. Jacqueline visualizes each personality as she furiously types. What they look like. How they talk. All the little quirks that make them who they are. They come to life! Jacqueline becomes animated! She make faces! She speak aloud in each character's voice as she feverishly writes. Her imagination goes into overdrive. Once Jacqueline has at least three characters developed within her story, the journey begins. Jacqueline says her book then writes itself. Only Jacqueline Pansy's book knows where it is going and how it will end. She just opens her mind and allows her imagination to become the book.
