Bless all of you that follow me! You all are the best! A double thank you to those that bought and read or listened to my books.
My mother, Pansy, passed away last week at 89 years old. She was a sweet, kind, and loving human being that will be missed greatly and fondly remembered.
As a family, we were blessed to be able to spend the last week of her life holding her hands, telling her we loved her, and helping her ease in to the next transition of life. We will not be having a traditional funeral service or celebration of life. Instead, as a family, we have chosen to honor our wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother by doing a day of service. We’re calling it “Pansy’s Day,” because we think that she would’ve wanted us to perform an act of kindness for others in order to honor her memory. We’re asking those that feel inspired to do so, to join us in honoring our mother on Pansy‘s Day by doing their own act of service for someone and/or something in need. Your act of service could be something as simple as checking on a friend or smiling at a stranger. Any type of kindness will do. One thing to remember is that we are asking that you indulge in something you love for yourself, too. For example, my mother loved sweets. Her favorites were cheesecake, chocolate muffins, and shortbread cookies. At the end of her life, my father made sure that she indulged often in these sweet treats. So, please do something kind for yourself on Pansy’s Day, as well. We’ve chosen July 27th. as the day that we will be celebrating Pansy’s Day. We hope that you will join us. Sending love to you all! My sister came up with this idea and I simply love it! Her Instagram for the video is https://www.instagram.com/honey_b_fit_ifbbpro My dad will be 90 in October. My mom has dementia and no longer recognizes her family. But we still cherish her and the time spent with her. Love you mom.
Daisy had heart issues, she passed last month. I have been too sad to write about it. She lived to be 11 years old which is pretty good being as we lost her brother, Quigley too, the same issue 2 years earlier; Quigley also had a collapsed trachea. We know they felt our love, goodness knows we spoiled them. So now they are up in heaven with our other loved fur babies who have passed of old age or illnesses, they are eagerly waiting for us to join them. I do hope it will be a long time before we join them but when we do it will be a glorious reunion. I am sharing a photo memory with you of our two babies. We miss and Love Daisy and Quigley but they will always be in our hearts.
Awesome character voices Jacqueline Pansy uses, as she narrates a small portion of chapter 12 from Planet Twerp. Planet Twerp is Written, Illustrated & Narrated by Jacqueline Pansy. I look at my accomplishments and give thanks for all my blessings in past year. I do not ponder the negative for the negative is no longer relevant. I now look forward to the New Year hoping for the wonderful surprises it will bring. I embrace new challenges as I navigate. My goal is to live life to the fullest, focusing on only the positive.
